Itinerary at a Glance :

Day 01: Arrive at Delhi

Arrive at New Delhi’s International Airport. Following customs, immigration formalities and baggage collection, our representative will meet you as you exit the arrival terminal building after which you would be transferred to your hotel.
Upon arrival at the hotel, proceed for check-in at the hotel.
Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Delhi to Bagdogra (By Air) to Darjeeling (72 Kms/ 2.5 Hrs)

Morning transfer to New Delhi Airport for flight to Bagdogra.
Upon arrival in Bagdogra, you will be met by our representative and later by surface you will travel to Darjeeling.
Darjeeling, also fondly known as the "Queen of hill stations", is nestled in the Himalayas and is famous for its tea production and the Darjeeling Himalayan Railways, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This hill town was developed in the mid 19thcentury, when the British set up a sanatorium and a military depot in Darjeeling. Before this, Darjeeling was the ancient Gorkha capital. Later, the Maharaja of Sikkim gifted Darjeeling to the British. Today Darjeeling is a travelers delight as of the pleasant weather and scenic beauty, there is a lot to see and do in Darjeeling.
En route, enjoy Watching Tea Estate, Panoramic Scenic View, Villages and Wide Sky. Upon arrival, proceed for check-in at the hotel.
Evening is at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Darjeeling

Early morning proceed to visit Tiger Hill [2590 meters] to view the sunrise on Kanchenjunga. If Weather Is Fine Please Walk Till Observatory Hill. Later enjoy Toy Train ride till Ghoom Monastery.
The Darjeeling Toy Train, officially known as the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway was completed during the British Era in 1881. It's now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The railway line climbs up steeply through a number of fascinating reverses and loops. One of the most scenic of these is Batasia Loop, between Ghoom and Darjeeling. It offers a panoramic view of Darjeeling perched on the hill and Mount Kanchenjunga in the background.
The Ghoom Monastery and the Yiga-Choling Gompa is a Yellow Hat sect Buddhist monastery. The 19th century Gompa, one of the oldest in the area, enshrines an enormous gilded statue of the Maitreya Buddha and also houses valuable Tibetan manuscripts. Later visit to the Tea Plantation. Evening is at leisure.
Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Darjeeling to Gangtok (96 Kms/ 3 Hrs)

Morning by surface travel to Gangtok. En route Sightseeing of Marutam Village And Enjoy Living Style Of Bhutia Family By Visiting Home. Later visit Rumtek Gompa. (Tibet Buddhist Karma Kagi)
Rumtek Monastery perched on a hill is one of the oldest and largest monasteries in Sikkim. It was built in 1717 and rebuilt by Gyalwa Karmapa in 1960. It is also called the Dharma Chakra Centre. The complex has many sacred objects. One of the most magnificent objects is the Golden Stupa, which contains the precious relics of His Holiness, the Sixteenth Karmapa.
Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim; is a beautiful hill station nestled in the clouds and surrounded by plush greenery, deep valleys and scenic view of the Kanchenjunga. It is a perfect blend of ancient culture and traditions and contemporary fashion and trends. Gangtok is famous for its monasteries, stupas and the picturesque view of the Himalayas. The city acts as an epicenter for travelers who wish to explore Sikkim. Rest of the day is at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Gangtok

Morning enjoy full day sightseeing tour of Gangtok visiting Tashi View Point, Do Drul Choren and Namgyal Institute of Tibetology.
The Tashi Viewpoint is located 4 km away from Gangtok, from where the visitors can get a perfect view of the opposite hills, besides mount Kanchenjunga. The snow range of Kanchenjunga could be seen on clear days. From this viewpoint, the visitors can easily see the Phodong Monastery and the Labrang Monastery on the opposite hill. Do Drul Choren is the most significant and biggest Stupa in Sikkim. It was built in 1945 under the supervision of Truslshi Rimpoche. The beauty of the gold plated stupa lies in the 108 prayer wheels (Mani-Lhakor) on which the mantras are engraved. The devotees go around the stupa reading and chanting the mantra.
Namgyal Institute of Tibetology is the premier institute in the world that was established to conduct research on the language and traditions of Tibet. The institute houses a museum that showcases about 200 Buddhist icons, masks, tapestries, antique paintings, statues, shrines and other religious works of Tibetian Arts. The institute is constructed in typical Tibetan Buddhist style and is an imposing monument and a splendid example of Sikkim architecture.
Afternoon visit to Handicraft Centre, Flower Show, Bazaar etc.
Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom was founded in 1957 to conserve and pass around the art and craft skills of the artificers of Gangtok. The Institute is an authentic warehouse of traditional handicrafts and handlooms that are exceptional to Sikkim. Some of the handicrafts one can find here are blankets, elegant hand-carved folding tables (Choktse), hand-loomed carpets with conventional themes, hand-painted masques, shawls, traditional paintings, wooden dolls. Batiks, crafts made of bamboo, embroidery footwear, lamp stands, and silk cloths are also an attraction for the visitors. Evening is at leisure. Enjoy traditional Sikkim food in dinner. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Gangtok to Bagdogra (121 Kms/ 3.5 Hrs) to Delhi (By Air) and Departure

Morning by surface travel to Bagdogra Airport for flight to Delhi.Upon arrival in Delhi Airport you will connect for onward flight journey.
